No. 10 “Where the Edges Begin to Blur” By Rebekah Victoria Studios
“The Landscape Between Us, Continues Without Us”
Where stillness begins, the quiet weight of morning dew appears.
Held by the soft wind, we are grounded in passing light.
The land changes first.
The air feels different here, as the earth speaks in whispers.
This is the place where everything softens.
Where the light learns to rest.
Where the edges begin to blur.
The final piece feels like dissolution and completion existing at the same time. One moment folds into another without resistance. Boundaries soften until they are almost memory. It is not an ending, but a gentle unmaking, where form becomes atmosphere. The landscape loosens its boundaries and becomes continuity instead.
We continue within or without.
This series began as a world that longed to remain whole, but in being shared, it is given permission to scatter. It exists in that scattering now; slightly unfinished, everywhere at once, remembered rather than possessed.
Each painting holds a fragment of a larger dream, extending beyond its own frame into a wider conversation that continues past the wall, the room, and the viewer. In its separation, the work does not fracture but multiplies, becoming a shared field of perception where a single horizon becomes many, and strangers are quietly held within the same unseen atmosphere.
12 inches in diameter
Water-soluble oil paint, acrylic and oil pastel on stretched cotton.
Painted in Manitoba, Canada by Rebekah Rogers Fredborg 2025 - 2026
Every piece is delivered with an authentication certificate and is ready to hang.
